I came to Australia in 2009 with my husband. We have 3 beautiful children. I have been always interested in healthcare since my childhood. I worked in Aged care for 5 years when I first came to Australia. In 2015 I started my Bachelor’s in Nursing and while I was studying, I worked as a disability support worker with various participants of different age group and needs including behaviour, psychological, intellectual, physical and day to day support. I am a registered nurse since 2018. I have been working in the community with very high care need patients and also working in emergency department. I love working with my patients and participants to enhance their independence and make positive changes in their lives.

I am working as House Supervisor at a residential accommodation unit with Victorian Aboriginal child and community Agency. 13 years ago, I started my career as a Disability Development and Support Officer. My experience in the disability sector supports me to understand my roles and responsibilities and developed a deep understanding of what is expected from me as House supervisor at Disability accommodation Unit.

Over the years I have worked with different and complex need participants and their families and I was successful to developed good rapport with participants, their families and other stakeholders.

During my work as residential house manager I have worked with team leaders and team members to develop Communication Assessment Plan, Person Centred Plan, Financial Plans, Behaviour Support Plans and Active Behaviour Support Plans to achieve positive outcomes for the clients.

I believe in motivating people and I encourage team members to put their ideas in front of others at the staff meeting or at the Professional Development sessions. The knowledge and skills I have acquired during my working career makes me feel confident in what I do.
